“Hello! My name is Tetyana, I am 33 years old, and I come from Kyiv. I have been married for 9 years, but I could not get pregnant until now. A miracle happened, and we are expecting our first child. In order to bear and give birth, my husband asked his relatives to accept me. They agreed, for which we are incredibly grateful.
So I ended up in the suburbs of San Diego, in Escondido, and my husband stayed in Ukraine. But his relatives live in a trailer, there is not enough space, and there is no hot water. I am asking for help with housing and work (pregnancy is going well, and I can and want to work). I received all the permits to work in the United States.
In Ukraine, I worked as a teacher at various universities and colleges for 10 years, teaching culinary arts and food technology. I also worked as a technologist-developer of innovative products and an expert on product quality. As a tutor, I helped schoolchildren with school assignments and prepared for exams in physics, mathematics, and history.
I’m ready for any work I can do!”
